Internet providers like AT&T are lobbying Congress hard to gut Network Neutrality--the Internet's First Amendment and the key to Internet freedom. Net Neutrality prevents AT&T from choosing which websites open most easily for you based on which site pays AT&T more. BarnesandNoble.com doesn't have to outbid Amazon for the right to work properly on your computer.

If Net Neutrality is gutted, many sites--including Google, eBay, and iTunes--must either pay protection money to companies like AT&T or risk having their websites process slowly. Dodge City showdown at funeral

DODGE CITY, Kansas (CNN) -- This past Saturday morning I found myself in a five-car caravan cutting across the Kansas plains with about 30 religious protesters. In the back of a truck, there were signs that read "Thank God for IED's" and "Thank God for Dead Soldiers."

I was with the Phelps family. They've launched a disturbing campaign to tarnish the funerals of fallen soldiers.

This is a painful drama playing out at dozens of military funerals across the country. The group is led by Fred Phelps.

He and his family have picketed and heckled military families at more than 100 funerals since June. They say the soldiers are fighting for an army that represents a country that accepts homosexuality.

I have spent a great deal of time in the last few weeks tracking the movements of Fred Phelps and his family. Saturday, I followed him and his family from their home in Topeka, Kansas, to a funeral in Dodge City, Kansas.

Fred Phelps is the pastor of Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka. The congregation is made up mostly of his family. Phelps has 13 children, 54 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He describes himself as an "old-time" gospel preacher who says, "You can't preach the Bible without preaching the hatred of God."

Phelps and his family have made a name for themselves by showing up at high-profile events preaching their hate-filled brand of Christianity. They blame homosexuals for the destruction of America.

This past weekend's target was Army Sgt. Jessie Davila.

Davila was killed February 20 in Iraq by a suicide bomber. He served as a Marine after graduating from high school. He returned to civilian life, and had a daughter. But he was always a soldier at heart, so two years ago he joined the Army National Guard and was three months into an Iraqi deployment when he was killed.

This is also very much a story about another phenomenon the Phelps protest has created. That's the birth of a group called the "Patriot Guard Riders." They're a volunteer group that came together after hearing that so many military families were being blindsided by the protesters.

More than 400 motorcycles thundered toward this showdown in Dodge City this weekend to make sure Sgt. Jessie Davila's funeral was not overshadowed by the Phelps protest. They converged from small towns all over southwest Kansas to support Sgt. Davila's family. One group leader says, "I knew we would have a crowd, but I didn't know it would be this big."

The procession of rolling thunder escorted Davila's family from memorial services to the grave site on a quiet hill.

In the end, Sgt. Davila's family says they were only able to hear a little bit of the Phelps protest. Davila's mother, Linda Claus, says she's grateful for the Patriot Guard Riders. But she also wants other military families to be aware that this could happen to them.

"When people begin to know what they're (Fred Phelps' family) really doing -- killing the American Dream -- they won't be around very long, because nobody's going to let them. They'll drown them out. They'll be gone," Claus said.

Since CNN started airing reports on these funeral confrontations a few weeks ago, the Patriot Guard Riders say its membership has almost tripled. And more than a dozen states are now considering legislation that would restrict protesting at funerals.

The Phelps family vows to continue these protests. They might be outnumbered, but the way the Patriot Guard Riders see it, it only takes one of them to dishonor the memory of a fallen soldier.

How to survive in an Earthquake

This makes very interesting reading. It goes against everything you've probably been told about how to survive an earthquake. In this time of earthquakes, tsunamis, mud slides etc...read this...it may save your life. Then pass it along to anyone you would like to be alive after an earthquake.

EXTRACT FROM DOUG COPP'S ARTICLE ON THE "TRIANGLE OF

My name is Doug Copp. I am the Rescue Chief and Disaster Manager of
the American Rescue Team International (ARTI), the world's most

experienced rescue team. The information in this article will save lives in an earthquake.

I have crawled inside 875 collapsed buildings, worked with rescue teams
from 60 countries, founded rescue teams in several countries, and I am a member of many rescue teams from many countries. I was the United Nations expert in Disaster Mitigation for two years. I have worked at every major disaster in the world since 1985, except for simultaneous
disasters.

In 1996 we made a film which proved my survival methodology to be correct.
The Turkish Federal Government, City of Istanbul, University of Istanbul
Case Productions and ARTI cooperated to film this practical, scientific
test.

We collapsed a school and a home with 20 mannequins inside. Ten
mannequins did "duck and cover," and ten mannequins I used in my "triangle
of life" survival method. After the simulated earthquake collapse we
crawled through the rubble and entered the building to film and document the results.

The film, in which I practiced my survival techniques under
directly observable, scientific conditions, relevant to building collapse,
showed there would have been zero percent survival for those doing duck and cover. There would likely have been 100 percent survivability for people
using my method of the "triangle of life." This film has been seen by
millions of viewers on television in Turkey and the rest of Europe, and it
was seen in the USA, Canada and Latin America on the TV program Real TV.

The first building I ever crawled inside of was a school in Mexico City
during the 1985 earthquake. Every child was under their desk. Every child
was crushed to the thickness of their bones. They could have survived by
lying down next to their desks in the aisles. It was obscene, unnecessary
and I wondered why the children were not in the aisles. I didn't at the
time know that the children were told to hide under something.

Simply stated, when buildings collapse, the weight of the ceilings falling
upon the objects or furniture inside crushes these objects, leaving a space
or void next to them. This space is what I call the "triangle of life". The
larger the object, the stronger, and the less it will compact. The less the
object compacts, the larger the void, the greater the probability that the
person who is using this void for safety will not be injured. The next time
you watch collapsed buildings, on television, count the "triangles" you see
formed. They are everywhere. It is the most common shape, you will see, in a collapsed building. They are everywhere.

TEN TIPS FOR EARTHQUAKE SAFETY
1) Most everyone who simply "ducks and covers" when
buildings collapse are crushed to death. People who get under objects, like
desks or cars, are crushed.

2) Cats, dogs and babies often naturally curl up in the fetal position. You should too in an earthquake. It is a natural safety/survival instinct. You
can survive in a smaller void. Get next to an object, next to a sofa, next
to a large bulky object that will compress slightly but leave a void next
to it.

3) Wooden buildings are the safest type of construction to be in during anearthquake. Wood is flexible and moves with the force of the earthquake. If the wooden building does collapse, large survival voids are created. Also,the wooden building has less concentrated, crushing weight.

Brick buildings will break into individual bricks. Bricks will cause many injuries but less squashed bodies than concrete slabs.

4) If you are in bed during the night and an earthquake occurs, simply roll
off the bed. A safe void will exist around the bed.

Hotels can achieve a much greater survival rate in earthquakes, simply by
posting a sign on the back of the door of every room telling occupants to
lie down on the floor, next to the bottom of the bed during an earthquake.

5) If an earthquake happens and you cannot easily escape by getting out the door or window, then lie down and curl up in the fetal position next to a sofa, or large chair.

6) Most everyone who gets under a doorway when buildings collapse is
killed. How? If you stand under a doorway and the doorjamb falls forward or backward you will be crushed by the ceiling above. If the door jam falls
sideways you will be cut in half by the doorway. In either case, you will
be killed!

7) Never go to the stairs. The stairs have a different "moment of frequency" (they swing separately from the main part of the building). The stairs and remainder of the building continuously bump into each other until structural failure of the stairs takes place. The people who get on stairs before they fail are chopped up by the stair treads- horribly mutilated. Even if the building doesn't collapse, stay away from the stairs. The stairs are a likely part of the building to be damaged. Even if the stairs are not collapsed by the earthquake, they may collapse later when overloaded by fleeing people They should always be checked for safety, even when the rest
of the building is not damaged.

8) Get Near the Outer Walls Of Buildings Or Outside
Of Them If Possible -
It is much better to be near the outside of the building rather than the
interior. The farther inside you are from the outside perimeter of the
building the greater the probability that your escape route will be
blocked.

9) People inside of their vehicles are crushed when
the road above falls in an earthquake and crushes their vehicles;

which is exactly what happened with the slabs between the decks of the Nimitz
Freeway. The victims of the San Francisco earthquake all stayed inside of their vehicles. They were all killed. They could have easily survived by getting
out and sitting or lying next to their vehicles. Everyone killed would have
survived if they had been able to get out of their cars and sit or lie next to
them. All the crushed cars had voids 3 feet high next to them, except for
the cars that had columns fall directly across them.

10) I discovered, while crawling inside of collapsed newspaper offices and
other offices with a lot of paper, that paper does not compact. Large voids
are found surrounding stacks of paper.

Parents and KEEPERS of the MINOR children of ALL types, need to really start RISING UP and TAKING a Stand...

I have been doing it On my own for 17 years... Going up against Dead Beat Dad's who Happen to be able to PAY Lawyers with NO JOBS...

Ones who Happen to be ABSENT parents, and then Suddenly get caught by the state, lose something like their Business licensee and then ALL of a sudden have BIG BUCKS to suddenly pull crud in curt.... and LIE, Cheat the system...

Hide their Incomes and Think they can Get away with it WITH ME???

BAAHAA, when it comes to me, I admit to being the Ultimate in EX-DOORMATS.... But when it comes to my KIDS....

This MOMMA BEAR doesn't take any guff, for no male, no lawyer, no judge...

the PROOF is in the court documents...

SO OF COURSE, finding out what they are Up against...

I just found out my Child was flown out of state to avoid legal procession.

Mess with Children ad find out what happen... Mess with mine, lose body limbs... and face the reaper...

I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say "NO!"

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!

Eminent Domain-Fifth Amendment - the Supreme Court

With the stroke of a pen, the Supreme Court of the United States effectively rejected one of the most fundamental constitutional freedoms guaranteed to all citizens ...

... your right to own property.

So the ACLJ is fighting back.

Today, the ACLJ asks you to add your name to our online Petition to Protect Private Property Rights to stop this ruling in its tracks.

This reckless move by the Supreme Court is nothing more than a rewriting of our Constitution. Our Founding Fathers considered the right to own property one of our most fundamental rights. In 1816, Thomas Jefferson said this:

The protection of property rights is ''the first principle of association, but guaranteed to everyone of the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.''

And yet, as I shared with you before the Court recently ruled that the government may seize the home, small business, or other private property of one citizen and transfer it to another private citizen - if the transfer would boost the community's economic development or increase its tax base.

This takes the government's power of eminent domain to a new - and frightening - level. It ignores the Fifth Amendment and centuries of legal precedent.

More importantly, it puts your home ... your small business ... your church at serious risk! This is why we need you to quickly join your voice with ours - and thousands of others - in protest by adding your name to our online Petition to Protect Private Property Rights.

This cannot be ignored. We must fight for our rights to own property. Since this ruling, properties in Florida and California have already been seized!

Of special concern to the ACLJ is the fact that churches, Christian camps, and other tax-exempt religious organizations could become targets if this ruling is allowed to stand.

We cannot allow this to happen.

This ruling is nothing more than a rewriting of our Constitution. Our Founding Fathers considered the right to own property one of our most fundamental rights. We cannot sit idly by while our right to own property is taken from us!

But at NO TIME, did he EVER claim to know HTML CODE... Some people his age, know it in their sleep, Some people his age, write the programs many of us use to write their own.. Some of us where using it before people his age where even born < sigh> My age is showing...

My Yang is Saying.. Using Multiple CUSTOM HTML Modules like Power toys, and Sandbox for example..

Can and Eventually WILL cause a CRASH that is IRREVERSIBLE...

if Not for my Brain Tumor related Traumatic Brain injury, I would not have such a headache over this NEW for of
SPACES myself,,,

but I do believe the best solution to the problem is POWER of the PEOPLE to request that
MSN SPACES give us back FREEDOM of HTML...

there ARE so many free and cheap HTML editors out there these days like MS FrontPage and many others that WORK wonderfully... there is NO reason for us to have such problems, and risk our PC's by
being victims to "REAL" hackers submitting dangerous CODES.. to GOOD natured and Helpful people.. knowing they are submitting harmful codes that are being sent around the globe like wildfire...

After being interviewed by the school administration, the eager teaching
prospect said:

Let me see if I've got this right....

You want me to go into that room with all those kids, and fill
their every waking moment with a love for learning. And I'm supposed to
instill a sense of pride in their ethnicity, modify their disruptive
behavior, observe them for signs of abuse and even censor their T-shirt
messages and dress habits.

You want me to wage a war on drugs and sexually transmitted
diseases, check their backpacks for weapons of mass destruction, and
raise their self esteem. You want me to teach them patriotism, good
citizenship, sportsmanship, fair play, how to register to vote, how to
balance a checkbook, and how to apply for a job.

I am to check their heads for lice, maintain a safe environment,
recognize signs of anti-social behavior, make sure all students pass the
mandatory state exams, even those who don't come to school regularly or
complete any of their assignments.

Plus, I am to make sure that all of the students with handicaps
get an equal education regardless of the extent of their mental or
physical handicap. And I am to communicate regularly with the parents by
letter, telephone, newsletter and report card All of this I am to do
with just a piece of chalk, a computer, a few books, a bulletin board, a
big smile AND on a starting salary that qualifies my family for food
stamps!

You want me to do all of this and yet you expect me...... NOT TO
PRAY???

BTW...

For all of those who ONLY VOTE, and are NOT EDUCATED VOTERS...

TEACHERS TENURE = They get LIFETIME Benifits, like in California, after TWO YEARS... a time where in Corporate life and many other Lower level jobs,

two years is still a probationary time...

TRY Getting a Teacher who DOES NOT do their Job out of the TENURE or the Job for NOT doing what is Needed when TENURED..

Like Arnold is Trying to do.. RAISE The time period to FIVE YEARS....

THAT IS FAIR, NOT UNFAIR to TEACHERS or THE CHILDREN IN THE SYSTEM of

EDUCATION!!!

Judge Roy Moore of Alabama's Voice

The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama. Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama. The judge's poem sums it up quite well.

I am a Baby boomer..

May 64' Year and Month of the Dragon, sign of the bull..

Must give me my direction for determination..

My need to find solace in the study of Native American Culture gives me much of my Inner Peace. Can't help being a Positive thinker...

I have always worked with children, now families with children with mental illness, and people with disabilities.

My goal long before this illness ( brain malformation ) was to open a center for disabled and elderly and children could come and be one with the earth, Open a community garden, give children a safe place to go, learn fine arts, get their hands dirty, growing food for their home and the community... give people a chance to work with computers, give people a chance to not to be isolated by their disabilities or illnesses OR INCOME and come be together in groups to learn things such as arts and crafts, peer group chats, in a safe environment, SO many people with disabilities are literally unable to leave their homes or communicate with others because of Lack of transportation.

I was unable to get access to medical care because the transportation systems LIABILITY ( even on the disabled busses) because I was alone. I own a car, but my children a too young to drive, I am unable and my father was blind.. no one here would give us a ride... I had to call Elder abuse

( because I am disabled I qualify as Elderly) on MYSELF..

but because I was STUCK, not abused they could no NOTHING to help me, but that was

( the advice my congressman gave me )

THE SYSTEM is Broken people..

starting with Just ONE voice, we CAN make a difference FOR ALL people, not just me but Millions of people Like me.

I have my dream and WILL find a way to make it come true for people around here.. I hope others will care enough to start things like this in their areas too.. Make a difference on town at a time..

Call you state representatives.. Let them know you are tired of our tax dollars being wasted on tests that go to medical records and Not being used to help the people being Radiated, and not helped.. Medicare pays for it, but they don't follow up to find out what IS and IS NOT being done..

YOU STILL PAY THE BILLS.. People with disabilities can't even get the help we all assume are being GIVEN to them , and most do not even know they are supposed to get because NO ONE tells them they SHOULD have because then people have to WORK.. they get paid to work for it anyway, but they don’t actually do anything...the Big tax SINK HOLE..

Medicare is only going broke because they spend Millions of dollars on things that are being done but when we report that there is NOTHING being done CORRECTLY, they have no system in place to send the FRAUD reports TOO.. no boss, no working numbers, NOTHING in place to STOP the fraud.. FLUSHING your tax dollars away, and crying to change the system, when the SYSTEM is the one who is wasting our money...

I worked 17 years, 70 + hours a week for my disability money... I would gladly earn a paycheck again, but dept of rehab says I am UNABLE.. just like millions more like me... Give us a chance, retrain us with these MODERN tech jobs, stop outsourcing, we will take lower paying jobs to EARN our medical and checks...

We have pride and DO NOT want to be shoved in a corner and be told we are UNABLE...

Put us in jobs with hospitals and medical situations where we can use our skills a patients NOT doctors where we can listen to patient needs to weed out the ones who just want meds, from those who need Physc help maybe, from those who obviously need drug rehab, to those who have OBVIOUS Home problems and would benefit from having a social worker HELP THEM OUT WITH THE SYSTEM, and getting them through the HEALTH System of care, Medical ADVOCATES, save the hospitals and Medical systems MILLIONS of dollars and stop making these patients more depressed, putting them on needless medications because they are stuck in the PIT of medicine, and run around, because NO ONE is listening to them..

Do not tell me things like that are not needed, or wanted by patients and WILL NOT save MILLIONS of dollars a YEAR, Billions even...and LIVES because these people give up feeling helpless and hopeless, and worse yet, like everything is IN THEIR heads because NO ONE is reading and putting their tests together and FOLLOWING up on their medical care...

No one but a patient who has been stuck in this situation can understand more.. they do not teach that in Medical school, and you do NOT have to be a doctor to know how that feels...doubt any doctor could..

Tell me again why it is they say WE CANNOT WORK???

Social Security and YOU

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS... Do Not Assume the SYSTEM is going to OFFER you the HELP you are ELIGBLE FOR!

Starting with People who require Acute Care, Living on SSI/ and or SSDI and SSI

SSI= Supplemental Security Income:

because of Accident, Injury, birth Defect that means, you have lived on SSI your entire life Or.. You have reached the age of 65..

SSDI = Social Security Disability Income:

You paid Earned income Taxes income Social Security Taxes.

In many cases , that dollar amount is SO LOW, you Qualify for Both

SSDI AND SSI...

After 18 Months on SSI for Disability that is PERMANENT...

You SHOULD GET ( often can get messy if you are coal miner or state or federal worker or SUPER RICH) and are ELIGIBLE for MEDICARE INSURANCE ( the red white and cue card )

WITH Medicare.. Per State Income Guidelines ..

= If you Get SSI.. You are Eligible for STATE MEDICAL

STATE medical covers your part B coverage, you co-payments and medicine....

IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING THIS... YOU MUST HAVE YOU OR YOUR REPRESENTATIVE go to the .

WELFARE OFFICE...

by whatever "NAME "they call it in your county/state ect.

DEPT. of Social SERVICES.

TO ONLY get SSI.. that means

You have never worked, or became sick and disabled prior to the age of 18..

Now you Must understand...

ANYTHING you have ever Lived with BEFORE....

it's all going to change

JANUARY 1st 2006

and YOU MUST read or have your representative read for you

MEDICARE and YOU 2006

Call the toll free social security office number if you have NOT already recived your GIANT BOOK and Letter

HUGE changes Coming and you HAVE to be EDUCATED..

ALL medications and Medical needs and Okays will no longer be held on a STATE level, MEDICARE will be paying OR NOT paying for what is due you..

YOU MST KNOW what your RIGHTS are and

What you will need to do in case it is

NOT WORKING FOR YOU!!

No one is going to OFFER YOU help and give you what you are eligible for... I have NO CLUE why but they DO NOT..

YOU MUST BE YOUR OWN VOICE even if that mean having someone be a VOICE FOR YOU!
